Max. 2GB PC133/PC100 unbuffered ECC/non-ECC SDRAM DIMMS
Question
Dear Hank,

I was wondering what does Max. 2GB PC133/PC100 unbuffered ECC/non-ECC SDRAM DIMMS mean? It says this about my motherboard's memory capacity? What does this mean? How much SDRAM can my motherboard hold? Its an Asus PFB-LX if you want to know what model it is.

Thanks for your time
Answer
I found no information on an ASUS PFB-LX, but there exists an ASUS P4B-LX with Max. 2GB PC133/PC100 unbuffered ECC/non-ECC SDRAM DIMMS specification.

It means that you could install a maximum of two (2) gigabytes of PC133/PC100 (PC133 or PC100) unbuffered (not registered) ECC/non-ECC (with or without Error Correction Code) SDRAM (Synchronous Dynamic Random Access Memory) DIMMS (Dual Inline Memory Modules).
