Of course, as soon as Nintendo hardware starts breaking, it's bad luck whereas when Sony hardware is breaking it's shoddy build quality, right?

Personally, I'd rather wait for 'official' (or rather, a big gaming website) reporting word of DS defects to announce that Nintendo have shoddy build quality, but even at an early stage it's, *ahem* interesting to see what people will say.

okay well if you have any hardware problems the official seal of quality on every nintendo product ensures the product work as it is sopposed to under normal conditions (that means don't play it in the rain or expect it to work if you throw it on the ground) the official seal means you can send it back to get it fixed within a reasonable amount of time. obviously you couldn't send back an original gameboy it's too old but if you had a problem with the DS they would fix it or replace it that's what the nintendo official seal of quality means...

sony happens to not ensure their products boggyb...so yes...it would be bad luck vx. shoddy built.
